Experts in critical communications

Regardless of whether the system is implemented in a residential, business or institutional environment, in order to truly achieve optimal performance an institutions internal communication needs must be met. For years this task was entrusted to antiquated analog systems that hurt efficiency and increase maintenance costs. With the transition to IP technology, new products are reaching the market that help to both simplify the platform’s installation and maintenance as well as improving the quality of service.

When IP technology solutions are implemented to handle a facility’s internal communications, it reduces both the costs associated with implementation and installation of the system. Instead of creating a new program from scratch, the current wired infrastructure and data help to improve both the planning and subsequent implementation of the system. In addition to cutting costs and improving data communication, the facility is able to take advantage of new technology such as real-time monitoring devices, improved audio quality and integration with other systems and platforms.

NEVATEC has been on the forefront of incorporating IP technology to communications systems since the launch of its program SIENA in 2006. Over the past decade, our company has continued to push and improve our technology. This focus is reflected in the creation of a new and exciting independent technology: CALL Point.

CALL Point technology was based on applying intercom and public access systems to emergency communications. Although traditionally very expensive, this technology was successfully introduced to a wide range of industries, from residential applications to being deployed in high risk prison settings.

CALL Point is designed in four layers:

  • Hardware Layer: Using the most up-to-date microprocessor technology that meets even the highest quality standards.
  • Firmware Layer: This technology has been developed specifically incorporate a variety of critical communications needs under one platform to maximize the facility’s stability and performance.
  • Middleware Layer: A set of open applications that facilitate integration with communications systems, video surveillance, security, etc.
  • Layer Software: Application in client-server architecture that allows for configuration, parameter setting, real-time monitoring and data mining.
